3rd Shift Assistant Machine Operator – Food Manufacturing (Temp-to-Hire)

Looking for a hands-on night shift role where you can learn new skills and contribute to a fast-paced production team? Our Macedon facility is hiring 3rd Shift Assistant Machine Operators. This is a temp-to-hire position, giving you the opportunity to join full-time and receive benefits after successfully completing the temporary period.

Shift & Pay:

  • 3rd Shift: Tue–Sat | 12 AM–8:30 AM | $19.50/hr

Location: Macedon,NY

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support operators in running production lines efficiently

  • Pack, stack, and inspect products to ensure quality

  • Prepare materials and keep lines supplied

  • Operate basic equipment like labelers and case packers

  • Follow safety, sanitation, and GMP standards

  • Keep work areas clean and organized while supporting 5S practices

  • Communicate production issues and ideas to supervisors

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Must be able to pass screening requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Eager to learn and take initiative

  • Able to follow instructions and work well in a team

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate in English

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (heat, noise, moisture)

  • Able to wear required PPE (hard hat, hairnet, steel-toe shoes, etc.)
