East Jordan Plastics, Inc. Truck Driver - OTR in Lyons, Georgia
Employer is looking for a Class A CDL Truck Driver who is dedicated safety conscious. Drive a semi-truck w/53 dry van to deliver our product and material to other plants and customers. Our diver's loads are 70-80% Regional (GA, FL, NC, SC and some western states), with a 30-20% long haul to the West coast and Midwest. Drivers are home Friday and Saturday nights. Responsibilities:
- Deliver product between plants and customers.
- Safe operation of semi-truck w/53 dry van.
- Assist customer with unloading product and checking to make sure they receive the correct product.
- Help maintain truck and trailers.
- Maintain safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL
- Cleaning driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years experience.
- Be able to operate pallet jack.
- Be able to climb in and out of trailer.
- Lift 50 to 60 pounds.
- Meet all DOT requirements and knowledge of DOT rules and laws.
- Must be able to pass a background check, DOT drug screen and physical.
