The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for seasonal Wranglers to join our team at Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Wrangler, you will support the team at Skyland lodging in planning and coordinating activities for our guests.
Pay
$16.00 - $16.00 / hour

What will you do?
Organize horseback riding and other recreation activities for guests
Lead hour-long trail rides up to six times each shift
Provide directions to local attractions within the National Park and attend to any queries guests may have about their planned horseback riding journey
Groom, feed, tack, and care for horses
Maintain the proper sanitation and safety procedures in the working environment
More about you
No high school diploma or GED required
Proficiency in riding, grooming, feeding, and handling horses is required
Previous customer service experience required
Previous cash handling and point-of-sale experience required
Ability to work weekends and holidays
Physical requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for entire length of shift
Ability to work outside for most of shift in all weather conditions.
