What will you do?
Supervise warehouse team, including assigning duties, training, and reporting any team member issues to the manager
Ensure proper stock of products and that all items are in their appropriate locations
Manage operating equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Manage inventory control, including receiving shipments, checking for quality and damage, preparing merchandise for delivery, preparing packages for shipping, performing cycle counts, and physical inventory
Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas
Initiate and organize procedures to set standards for the warehouse
This position requires driving a company vehicle
More about you
Minimum of 6 months of warehouse, food and beverage, commissary, or related experience required
Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer system required
Ability to communicate job procedures and give clear concise instructions
No college degree required
Possess and maintains a valid driver's license
Physical requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pull heavy carts of stock throughout the facility
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting during the entire length of the shift
Ability to work in a variety of temperatures and a dusty and noisy warehouse environment
Ability to climb up and down 3’-12’ ladders with items and boxes
