As a Global/Regional TEST Process Technology Lead here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for defining, harmonizing, and deploying test engineering strategies, platforms, and best practices across Honeywell’s regional or global manufacturing footprint. This position ensures robust test coverage, flawless NPI introduction, high-quality output, and maximum equipment uptime through standardized architectures, automation, and deep collaboration with ISC, R&D, Quality, and global factory teams. You will report directly to our AME Director Process Technologies, and you’ll work out of our Lugoj, Timis location on a Hybrid (3 days in the office +2 days at home) work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and deploy Honeywell’s Global Test Strategy, including standard architectures, technologies, and test platforms across all assigned regions.
Define standardized Global Manufacturing Standards and Process Control Methodsfor test.
Collaborate closely with R&D to influence design choices, ensuring reliability and minimal lifecycle cost.
Define and maintain global test platforms including ICT, AOI, SPI, boundary scan, flying probe, functional test, end‑of‑line test systems.
Lead equipment roadmap planning and global capital standardization.
Lead global initiatives under Honeywell’s Operational Excellence framework.
Reduce test‑related escape risks, scrap, and re‑test rates.
Improve global efficiency through standardized work, cycle time reduction, and test simplification.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Automation/ Computer/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
8 years of experience in electronics test engineering (PCBA, functional test, system test).
Hands-on expertise with ICT, AOI, JTAG/boundary scan, functional test development, and debugging.
Strong DFx capabilities and experience supporting complex NPIs.
Experience with Lean and Operational Excellence,Tier reviews, and Global frameworks.
Technical leadership & global collaboration
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
