I&M Auto Care,a family-owned Automotive service business serving the greater Lowell community, is looking for a Massachusetts State Inspector to join our service team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining our state inspection bay, performing inspections according to Massachusetts regulations, and helping keep our service department running efficiently. Responsibilities - Perform Massachusetts vehicle inspections - Non-commercial inspections - Uber/Lyft inspections - Interpret and apply Massachusetts state inspection standards - Document inspection results accurately - Maintain the inspection bay and inspection equipment - Keep the work area clean and organized - Assist with additional mechanical and other tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications - Valid Massachusetts *State Inspector License required - Valid drivers license required - Bilingual language skills are preferred but not a requirement. - Positive and professional attitude - Strong customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail - Basic computer and phone skills - Ability to stand, kneel, or squat throughout the workday - Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles I&M Auto Care is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
