UKG Corporate Strategy Associate in Lowell, Massachusetts

Today, tens of millions of workers start and end their days with our workforce operating platform. Helping people get paid, grow in their careers, and shape the future of their industries. That’s what we do.

As a member of the corporate strategy team, you will play a senior role in shaping UKG’s strategic direction by partnering closely with executive and senior leadership on complex, high-impact business questions. The Corporate Strategy team partners with leaders across UKG to evaluate critical tradeoffs, inform investment and portfolio decisions, and support enterprise-level decision making. In this role, you will work at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and executive decision making.

Key responsibilities:

• Advance enterprise business priorities by enabling executive and senior leaders to set direction, resolve tradeoffs, and take action on complex strategic decisions related to growth, portfolio priorities, investment choices, and long-range planning

• Bring structure to complex strategic questions by framing decisions, laying out options, and highlighting implications for the business

• Apply strong analytical and financial perspectives to support decisions that affect performance, resourcing, and risk

• Support strategic workstreams by testing assumptions, identifying key risks and second-order effects, and grounding recommendations in business realities

• Help leaders prepare for important decision points by translating analysis into clear points of view and practical next steps

• Create clear, concise executive presentations that synthesize analysis, highlight tradeoffs, and support decision making

• Work closely with cross-functional partners to help ensure strategic insights are reflected in priorities and follow-through

• Contribute an enterprise perspective in cross-functional discussions, helping teams stay focused on what matters most

Position requirements:

• Experience in a strategy consulting firm (e.g. Bain, McKinsey, BCG)

• Advanced analytical and financial skills, with the ability to interpret, challenge, and synthesize complex quantitative analysis

• Strong experience developing executive-level PowerPoint deliverables, including structuring decision frameworks, crafting clear narratives, and translating analysis into decision-oriented content

• Clear and confident communication skills, with experience working closely with senior leaders on high-stakes decision making

• Strong strategic judgment with the ability to operate across a broad set of complex business topics

• Structured and logical thinker with demonstrated experience framing ambiguous problems and guiding analytical direction

Personal Qualifications:

• Analytically rigorous, with a strong bias toward fact-based decision making

• Credible, grounded communicator who can engage senior stakeholders without relying on formal authority

• Practical and outcome-oriented, focused on moving priorities forward rather than producing analysis for its own sake

• Comfortable working through ambiguity and helping leaders navigate complex tradeoffs

• Strong attention to detail combined with an ability to see broader business implications

• Collaborative working style with the ability to operate independently and add value where judgment matters most
