Robert Half Financial Analyst in Loveland, Colorado
Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Loveland, Colorado. This is a long-term contract position within the agriculture industry, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to financial operations and business analysis. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be passionate about driving financial performance and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily margin analyses to identify discrepancies and collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
• Address inquiries from field teams regarding profit and loss statements, margins, costs, supplier programs, and freight.
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports to regional, divisional, branch, and corporate stakeholders.
• Provide financial and business insights to support strategic objectives and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist managers at various levels in analyzing business performance to enhance financial results.
• Support the creation of budgets, strategic plans, quarterly presentations, forecasts, and monthly business narratives.
• Participate in the monthly financial close process, coordinating efforts with business managers and accounting teams.
• Collaborate across North American retail regions to identify and implement profitability improvement opportunities.
• Perform data harmonization testing and margin analysis to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Contribute to the integration of legacy companies and handle additional duties and projects as needed. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Exceptional critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proven integrity and adherence to high ethical standards.
• Ability to lead by example and work effectively in team settings.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes, financial reporting, and retail finance strategies.
