Job Summary
The primary role of this position is to provide support for facilities maintenance activities. This position identifies problems and assists with corrective actions leading to continuous improvements. This includes but is not limited to, providing assistance in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of facilities’ equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security, and facility grounds.
Essential Job Duties
· Perform maintenance, installation, and improvement tasks.
· Provide training and documentation as needed for end-users.
· Perform or coordinate review and calibration of equipment.
· Perform troubleshooting of problems.
· Provide or request purchased tools and equipment as authorized.
· Coordinate the movement of furniture and equipment as needed.
· Provide support for other maintenance team members.
· Coordinate and implement corrective actions as needed.
· Coordinate and complete preventive maintenance activities.
· Required to work off-shift and weekends, as needed, to support facility processes.
· Perform light janitorial, light plumbing, and elevated tasks.
· Operate department vehicles and equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
· Demonstrated technical or mechanical aptitude
· Basic transferable skills that apply to the role
· Ability to perform straightforward tasks
· Ability to complete work as directed, and to collaborate within a team environment

The employee must frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 20 pounds and/or occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
Employees will be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which may include: eye, hearing and respiratory protection, protective smock, steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields. Contact lenses may not be allowed in some areas.
