Job Title: Application Engineer
Job Description
Serve as a technical liaison between customers and the sales team, dedicating 60% of your time at customer sites and 40% in the office. Focus on supporting the engineering team with drawings and product testing, and engage in the design and implementation of advanced wire and cable technologies for multiple industries.
Responsibilities
Act as the technical liaison between customers and the sales team.
Spend 60% of your time at customer sites and 40% in the office.
Design and develop wire, cable, and cable assemblies tailored to customer requirements.
Create and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Prepare technical quotations, approval drawings, and pricing.
Support manufacturing and quality teams to ensure compliance and delivery.
Utilize CAD software for product testing.
Essential Skills
Technical support experience.
Expertise in wire harness design.
Proficiency in engineering documentation.
Knowledge of electrical interconnects.
Ability to create and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Experience with CAD software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred; not strictly required).
Willingness to travel 40%–60% locally.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loveland, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $57.00/hr.
