Job Description: Biery Cheese in Louisville, OH, has multiple full-time Packaging Technician Level 1 (First & Third Shifts) openings.

The Packaging Technician Level 1 (PT1) is an entry-level position. A PT1's specific role may vary depending on the type of cheese product they package, but most PT1s perform basic production duties. This position may perform sanitation duties as needed. 

Payrate and Shifts:

First Shift: Monday - Friday 6:55 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Payrate: $16.00/hour.

Third Shift: Monday - Friday 10:55 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Payrate: $16.25/hour; Shift differential $2.00/hour.

*Occasional mandatory overtime including weekends

Essential Accountabilities:

• [Assist in supporting a safe and healthful work environment for all personnel through consistent support of the company's safety process and understand GMPs.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Participate/support the SQF program and assist in the development of the system and operational standards and corrective actions.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Responsible that product is run to specification ensuring the highest quality and help perform root cause analysis on all quality defects.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Remove cheese from manufacturing containers.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Must be able to fold, dump and skid forms.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Must be able to operate and maintain the fillers.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Ability to sort through trim to find foreign objects.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Makes verbal reports to Line Leader and provides spoken information about a problem or issue.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
• [Available to work overtime as needed.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
