Job Title: Service Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial and commercial overhead doors and loading docks. This position requires travel and hands-on work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities
Install and repair industrial and commercial overhead doors and loading docks.
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Perform electrical work with voltages ranging from 110V to 480V.
Interact professionally with customers to ensure a positive service experience.
Travel to various sites and perform field service duties.
Maintain work vehicles and ensure they are in good operating condition.
Essential Skills
2-3 years of hands-on mechanical experience, ideally in plant maintenance.
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with welding is strongly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Knowledge of installation, wiring, fabrication, and preventive maintenance.

Work Environment
The role operates Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with minimal Saturday work. Technicians report to the shop and then travel to various sites using a company vehicle. The job involves working outdoors, often on ladders up to 40 ft, and lifting up to 100 lbs with the assistance of lifters and hoists. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00/yr.
