UPS Worldwide Forwarding Inc. seeks Senior Software Development Engineer in Louisville, KY:Job Duties: Provide input and support for, and perform full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). Participate in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. Contribute to project plans and integration, collaborate with teams and support emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. Direct component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for software development initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance. Advises/provides consultative support to exceed internal and external customers’ expectations. Develop and lead development project activities and integrations. Guide teams to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. Research and support the integration of emerging technologies. Provide knowledge and support for application development, integration, and maintenance tasks. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from US offices in Louisville, KY.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.Special Skill Requirements: (1) MVC Architecture; (2) Azure; (3) Design Patterns; (4) .Net; (5) ASP.NET; (6) Angular; (7) React; (8) Red Hat OpenShift; (9) Google Cloud; (10) Karma; (11) Jenkins; and (12) SQL.
