OnPoint Warranty Solutions is seeking a Senior ETL Developer, for its Louisville, KY headquarters, who will work with business leaders, key vendors and clients in extracting, preparing and loading service contract sales, and cancels and claims data into key systems to perform mission-critical company operational tasks, such as customer service and insurance claims reporting.Job DutiesDesign, create, automate and maintain programs that extract, convert and load data.Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target databases or data warehouses.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and define data integration workflows.Develop and implement data validation and cleansing strategies to ensure data quality and consistency.Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes, including data mappings, transformations, and workflows.Monitor ETL jobs and address any failures or issues to ensure successful data integration.Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and other teams to understand data integration requirements and implement effective solutions.Collaborate with data modelers and architects to design and implement data structures that support efficient data integration.Administer, monitor, and maintain the organization's databases to ensure optimal performance, data integrity, and availability.Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS) and related software components.Perform regular database backups, recovery, and capacity planning.Optimize database queries and implement performance tuning techniques.Monitor and resolve database-related issues, including troubleshooting and debugging.QualificationsMust have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of related experience in the following areas:ETL job experience.Writing complex native SQL queries.SQL Server.SSIS or related ETL tool.Creating and managing ETL job flows and scheduling.Processing multiple file formats across diversified platforms.Functioning in Agile environment utilizing Jira ticketing system.Managing multiple task assignments across several projects.Understanding, analyzing, and managing dataset functionality inputs and outputs.This position can work from home, anywhere in the US.
