Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor (Process Coach) Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee UAW skilled trades employees such as electricians, pipefitters, and millwrights within the final assembly area of the plant. The role involves supervising 20-45 employees in a fast-paced environment, assigning preventive maintenance tasks, generating reports, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring the right personnel are assigned to fix issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage UAW skilled trades employees in the final assembly area.
Assign preventive maintenance tasks to employees.
Generate and analyze maintenance reports.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and assign appropriate personnel for repairs.
Ensure smooth operation of processes and equipment, including robotics and PLCs.
Essential Skills
Maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
Experience supervising skilled trades within a union environment.
Strong technical knowledge of robotics, PLCs, and equipment.
Background in automotive or manufacturing industries.
Mechanical and electrical expertise.
Experience in preventive maintenance and maintenance management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
PLC experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Fanuc robotics.
Experience supervising skilled trades in a union environment.
Knowledge of conveyor systems is beneficial.
A relevant degree is helpful but not mandatory.

Work Environment
The role requires flexibility with working hours and shifts, with some employees working 60-70 hours per week. The environment is very fast-paced, demanding quick and effective decision-making. Business casual attire is expected, with a rotation of shifts every six months.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $49.00/hr.
