Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for all maintenance activities within our facility. This includes troubleshooting, adjusting, installing, and repairing conveyors, equipment, motors, sprockets, gearboxes, saws, chains, pumps, and cylinders. You will also fabricate and weld components, operate material handling equipment, and perform preventive maintenance activities. Accurate record-keeping of repairs, calibrations, and tests is essential.
Responsibilities
Conduct troubleshooting and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment.
Adjust, install, and repair conveyors, motors, sprockets, gearboxes, saws, chains, pumps, and cylinders.
Fabricate and weld components as required.
Operate material handling equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Competence in preventive maintenance and welding.
Ability to operate hand tools and material handling equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Fabrication skills are a plus.
Forklift operation experience.
Understanding of schematics.
Experience with heavy equipment.
Diploma or GED required.
Degree or license preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment
Work in a non-temperature controlled manufacturing facility where steel toes and safety glasses are required. Engage with a manufacturer and printer of foil used in cigarette packages, and a manufacturer and laminator of lottery tickets. The facility includes spoolers, laminators, slitters, and some robotic equipment.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $56160.00/yr.
