Baptist Health Systems Hospital Pharmacy Director in Louisville, Kentucky

SummaryJob Description:This key position is responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising all pharmacy services across the Baptist Health Louisville hospital. This position ensures the delivery of safe, appropriate, accessible, cost-effective, and high-quality pharmaceutical care for patients and ensuring the highest clinical competence of staff members.The Pharmacy Director provides operational and strategic leadership for pharmacy services and is accountable for compliance with all federal and state laws, hospital accreditation standards, and professional practice regulations. The Director oversees medication safety initiatives, formulary management, and controlled substance compliance.This key position acts as an advisor to senior leadership and works collaboratively with physicians, nursing leadership, and system pharmacy leadership, to implement programs that enhance medication therapy outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and support the organization's quality and strategic objectives.
