What are the Duties? ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Repairs and roadside assistance out of Service TruckService and repair work, drive train, steering, electrical, engine, suspension and brakes.Troubleshooting and inspectionsGood computer and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work independentlyRotating On Call Weekly schedule (Tech would be On call once every 3 weeks)Ability to take service truck home - negotiablePHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTSWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.The associate must be able to read and write reports.Experience / Education2+ years Diesel Repair experience is requiredPrefer Diesel Program Technical School completion and minimum 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to obtain DOT Med CardCertifications / LicensesValid State Driver's License requiredCDL is preferred
