Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Technician – Gas Leak Surveys based in Louisville, Kentucky .
You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Louisville, KY location on a Remote work schedule.
In this role, you will learn and complete the on-site inspection of gas facilities, appropriately investigate specific findings, properly document all inspection results, maintain a safe work environment, and respectfully communicate with customers.
You will go through the training and onboarding process, and later you will be expected to work alone without supervision all over the 18-county service territory held by our client. You be home every night, following a Monday through Friday, 7:00-3:30pm schedule. Travel to support additional projects may be required.
You will drive company vehicle, and will be issued a laptop, a cell phone and required PPE/uniforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical support and service to customers
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of systems
Install and configure equipment and software
Collaborate with cross functional teams to address customer needs
Maintain accurate records of service activities and documentation
YOU MUST HAVE
Must participate in training and pass operator qualifications for service.
Must pass DOT drug screen.
Valid Driver’s license with driving record acceptable to Honeywell.
High School Diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ability to carry required tools and tool bag (10-15lbs) regularly for extended periods and distances.
The ability to spend long periods of time standing and / or walking on concrete and other surface.
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly, to include but not limited to; safety shoes, hard hat, safety glasses / goggles / face shield, hearing protection, safety harness, ARC Flash suites, chemical and/or cut resistant gloves.
