ManpowerGroup Deskside Support Technician in Louisville, Kentucky
Our client, a leading organization in the technology support sector, is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to join their team. As a Deskside Support Technician, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting the technical needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Deskside Support Technician
Location: Louisville, KY onsite
What's the Job?
Support deployment of new computers and hardware setup
Provide centralized phone support from Appliance Park
Configure and set up printers and wireless devices
Validate VPN functionality and transfer user data as needed
Support Wi-Fi access points and wireless devices, track support activities, and provide end-user training
What's Needed?
Dell and Lenovo certified (Forum/SDS roles) or comparable experience
Dell and IBM certified or similar experience (Sales Counter role)
A+ certification or equivalent experience
Minimum three (3)+ years of deskside support experience
Strong knowledge of Windows XP/7/10 environments and Active Directory
