Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma/GED and up to two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 1 (Hourly)Position Description:The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Receptionist to work at the UofL Dental Associates faculty private practice clinic located at 501 S. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGreet, direct and interview patients. Enter demographic data in the computerized patient information system. Answer telephone calls and handle inquiries. Schedule patient appointments. Compile patient charts. Serve as cashier; accept payments from patients; enter financial data into computer; issue receipts; balance cash drawer at end of day; set up payment contracts; work with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations; track payments and troubleshoot issues. Additional HIPAA / privacy training upon hiring; Infection Control training.
