Baptist Health Systems Clin Informatics Analyst RN Surgical Services in Louisville, Kentucky

SummaryJob Description:Baptist Health Louisville is seeking to hire a full-time, 32 hours weekly, Clinical Informatics Registered Nurse to support Surgical Services by coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the Clinical Information System for the Main OR and related departments. In this role, you will serve as a consultant, facilitator, and liaison for clinical staff while helping drive effective technology use across the organization. The position works variable hours as needed to support multiple departments and shifts and plays a key role in advancing organizational and patient care goals.Responsibilities include assessing and developing interdisciplinary staff IT education to enhance performance and professional development, using structured problem-solving approaches to plan and improve clinical information system needs, and maintaining the clinical informatics system in collaboration with IT. This role also serves as a resource for staff and the organization, maintains familiarity with project materials and development guidelines, and assists with orientation of new employees within the department. The position supports system and project implementations through workflow analysis, system testing, staff training, go-live activities, and ongoing operational support.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current Kentucky RN license and BSN required.A Master's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is preferred.
