Job Duties- Drivers will operate vehicles safely, and keep organized and accurate records,. Inform Logistics Coordinator and/or appropriate staff when problems arise:
-Map out and organize daily delivery routes and follow delivery schedules
-Safely operate the equipment necessary (cages, load bars, straps, pallet jacks, maps, and GPS units)
-Unload trucks when returning from runs; load vehicles when necessary
- Complete and keep DOT logs, record and run sheets up to date
-Document shortages and discrepancies and provide this information in a timely manner to appropriate Logistics team member
-Maintain professional communication
-Test vehicles equipment, such as lights, brakes, horns, or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation, take vehicle to mechanic for service
-Vacuum and clean interiors, and wash and polish exteriors of automobiles
- Transport passengers on a scheduled basis
-Additional second shift hours may be offered
- Transport farm grown products
Requirements: * 12 Months Experience in Duties Listed * 1 Training Month Listed * Certification/License Requirements * Driver Requirements * Drug Screen * Lifting Requirement 50lbs * Exposure to Extreme Temperatures * Extensive Pushing or Pulling * Extensive Sitting or Walking * Frequent Stooping or Bending Over * Repetitive Movements
