EPAM Systems Senior Web Analytics Specialist in Los Angeles, California

EPAM is looking for a Senior Web Analytics Specialist to serve as the connective tissue between marketing strategy and technical data infrastructure. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who understands both the business questions marketers are asking and the technical architecture required to answer them accurately and at scale.

You'll own the analytics tracking framework, drive governance across platforms, and ensure the data flowing through Adobe Analytics, AEP, and CJA is clean, trusted, and actionable.

If you've spent your career building the kind of measurement foundations that teams actually rely on — and you're energized by both the strategy and the implementation — this role is built for you.

Req.#1001617621

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing web analytics requirements across all digital channels

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and translate business requirements into measurement strategies, tracking specifications, and data collection frameworks

  • Design, implement, and govern scalable web data layers, tagging architectures, and analytics tracking solutions across web platforms

  • Lead and support the migration from Adobe Analytics to Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) and drive broader AEP adoption

  • Collaborate with content, data strategy, and data engineering teams to support downstream integrations and analytics pipelines

  • Partner with front-end and back-end developers, technical leads, and product teams to implement, validate, and troubleshoot analytics tracking

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are maintained across all analytics platforms

  • Design and maintain cross-channel measurement strategies spanning web, marketing automation, and digital platforms

  • Apply knowledge of privacy regulations and consent management frameworks — including GDPR and CCPA — to ensure compliant data collection practices

  • Participate actively in Agile/SAFe ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical reviews

  • Produce clear documentation, reporting, and stakeholder-ready insights that support strategic business decisions

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in digital or web analytics, with a strong focus on marketing data frameworks and implementation

  • Deep hands-on expertise with Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)

  • Proven experience designing and managing web data layers, tag management systems, and event-based tracking frameworks

  • Strong background in data schema modeling, data analysis, and supplementing or scaling marketing analytics frameworks

  • Solid proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and modern web development practices, with experience using analytics debugging and browser developer tools

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK and cross-channel measurement strategies

  • Familiarity with server-side tracking and hybrid tagging architectures

  • Working knowledge of privacy regulations and consent management (GDPR, CCPA) and their practical impact on tracking implementation

  • Background in data governance, taxonomy development, and analytics standards

  • Experience in B2B digital environments and Agile/SAFe delivery models

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — you can translate technical complexity into clear business language and back again
