Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
9 years of experience in consumer-facing social media marketing.
Experience creating and managing brand marketing campaigns.
Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.
Experience across traditional social media channels and newer social media entrants.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience driving bold consumer-facing social marketing programs and earned conversation.
Experience with social media content publishing and reporting tools.
Experience managing social channels, community engagement, influencer programs, and paid social media.
Knowledge of how to use and implement social listening at the strategy and operational level.

To achieve that, we are a multidisciplinary team of marketers, strategists, insights specialists, creatives, producers, and engineers who work together to create exceptional marketing.
Social Marketers establish the foundation for integrating social into all Google user touchpoints from advertising campaigns to event marketing to community engagement in a clear and consistent way. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with brand marketing leads to help align earned awareness marketing with the brand and business roadmap. You will use data-driven analysis and insights to improve campaign effectiveness and value to the business, as well as exemplary social solutions across Google’s key marketing initiatives. You will partner with and report to the head of the integrated social marketing team and be responsible for social strategy and execution of the company’s brand campaigns, including major sports partnerships and specific cultural fandoms (e.g., gaming). You will develop and drive unique approaches to content, channels, community, and creators that drive conversation. You will work with area specialists and agencies to help see our goals through as part of a larger brand marketing cross-functional team.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Develop and manage social marketing strategies for campaigns and cultural moments.
Bring together experts in channel, community, content, creative, and brand marketing to build comprehensive social marketing activations.
Represent social marketing within a larger brand marketing team.
Own social go-to-market for campaigns and activations.
Partner with the campaign measurement team and optimize future activations based on performance.
