Description
Robert Half Legal is partnering with an established and respected commercial litigation firm in their search for a Labor and Employment Attorney. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for attorneys with proven litigation experience and a strong background in labor and employment law.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and respond to motions, including preparing persuasive legal arguments.
Conduct comprehensive legal research related to a variety of employment and labor disputes.
Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, reviewing documents, and preparing for depositions.
Advise clients on employment law matters, compliance issues, and best practices.
Support case strategy development and participate in all stages of litigation as needed.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver outstanding client service.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active and good standing membership with the California Bar (must be CA-barred).
3+ years’ experience practicing labor and employment law, with commercial litigation exposure preferred.
Demonstrated experience drafting motions, conducting legal research, and managing discovery.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently in a remote setting and manage a dynamic caseload.
Details and Compensation:
Position: Labor and Employment Attorney
Location: Fully Remote
Type: Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $75-$90/hour during contract (DOE)
Conversion Salary: $185,000-$215,000 per year upon hire (DOE)
