Robert Half Labor and Employment Attorney (Fully Remote) in Los Angeles, California

Description

Robert Half Legal is partnering with an established and respected commercial litigation firm in their search for a Labor and Employment Attorney. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for attorneys with proven litigation experience and a strong background in labor and employment law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and respond to motions, including preparing persuasive legal arguments.

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research related to a variety of employment and labor disputes.

  • Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, reviewing documents, and preparing for depositions.

  • Advise clients on employment law matters, compliance issues, and best practices.

  • Support case strategy development and participate in all stages of litigation as needed.

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver outstanding client service.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Active and good standing membership with the California Bar (must be CA-barred).

  • 3+ years’ experience practicing labor and employment law, with commercial litigation exposure preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience drafting motions, conducting legal research, and managing discovery.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to work independently in a remote setting and manage a dynamic caseload.

Details and Compensation:

  • Position: Labor and Employment Attorney

  • Location: Fully Remote

  • Type: Contract to Hire

  • Pay Rate: $75-$90/hour during contract (DOE)

  • Conversion Salary: $185,000-$215,000 per year upon hire (DOE)
