Amergis CT Tech - Day Shift-$3599/week Travel in Los Angeles, California
The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age

Minimum Experience and Certification Required: Candidates MUST have at least 1 year of experience working in an acute care hospital - preferably Trauma Level 1
Must have an active ARRT, Venipuncture and Fluoro certifications
Facility Details
Orientation: Candidates MUST retrieve Employee Health Clearance and completion of their HR Appointment before they are scheduled for Orientation.
Employee Health Clearance is given based off completion of the following:
2-step TB, T-Spot or TB Quantiferon
Mask Fit Test (Must be county approved mask)
Physical
MMR Titers

$3599/week Gross Travel package (inclusive of stipends)
