Description
We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant with apparel company experience to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all bookkeeping tasks are completed timely.
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions efficiently.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify and balance financial accounts.
• Utilize QuickBooks software to organize and track financial data.
• Prepare detailed financial reports to support business decision-making.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records or transactions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist in audits by providing detailed and organized financial documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.
• Address inquiries related to financial transactions or records promptly.
Requirements
• Experience doing accounting for an apparel company
• Proficiency in A2000 and other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial data.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration and inquiry resolution.
• Familiarity with accounting standards and compliance requirements.
