UCLA Health Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator - Pediatrics in Los Angeles, California
Description
The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator will be part of
a centralized clinical research team that conducts clinical trials and
registries across multiple pediatric sub-specialties. Under the direction of
the Clinical Research Supervisor, this position will assist team members with
tasks such as data entry, query resolution, document management, and specimen
handling. They will support the team in planning and organizing necessary tasks
to ensure adherence to the study protocol and applicable regulations. The Assistant
CRC must be able to adapt to changing priorities and work flexible hours to
accommodate research deadlines. Travel to other locations may be required. This
position is primarily on-site at the UCLA Westwood campus.
This is a limited position that may convert to
career.
Salary Range: $29.28 - $47.10 Hourly
Qualifications
Required:
Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with thoroughness and accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport, and build relationships.
Strong organizational capabilities.
Skills sufficient to solve problems and identify solutions.
Ability to adapt to changing job demands and priorities; work flexible hours to accommodate research deadlines.
Ability to respond to situations in an appropriate and professional manner.
Ability to concentrate and focus in a work environment that contains distracting stimuli and competing deadlines.
Ability to be flexible in handling work delegated by more than one individual.
Typing and computer skill/ability including word-processing, use of spreadsheets, email, data entry.
Ability to navigate numerous software programs and applications.
Ability to handle confidential material information with judgement and discretion.
Skill in coordinating information transfer among multiple constituents.
Preferred:
- Experience in a Health Care Setting.
