We’re partnering with a leading entertainment company to find a talented Application Engineer II to support a dynamic technology team. This remote position is for a 27-52 week temporary assignment, supporting Jira Cloud Platform management across a complex, global ecosystem. The role offers an exciting opportunity to help enhance team workflows and system configurations.
Application Engineer II - Jira Cloud Platform Responsibilities:
Manage and support a large-scale Jira Cloud environment with nearly 6,000 users and extensive customization.
Collaborate with delivery leads and engineers to design, implement, and deploy configuration updates, overseeing projects from inception to deployment.
Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements, defining scope for new systems and enhancements to facilitate efficient work processes.
Assist in reducing Jira configuration complexity by streamlining custom fields, statuses, and schemes.
Review Atlassian product updates, evaluate third-party vendor work, and configure integrations and access permissions to optimize platform security and functionality.
Application Engineer II - Jira Cloud Platform Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience working with Jira Cloud.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Jira Service Management Cloud.
Over 4 years of expertise with Groovy scripting using ScriptRunner.
Advanced knowledge of Atlassian Jira Cloud and major add-ons such as Automation, eazyBI, Structure, and Advanced Planning.
Proficiency in managing assets and configuration within Jira Service Management, with experience supporting large team efforts and multi-vendor projects.
