Insight Global Senior Project Manager in Los Alamitos, California
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support a reputable electrical contractor on major commercial and industrial construction projects. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, from financial management and subcontractor coordination to client communication and project documentation.
The Senior Project Manager will work onsite and partner closely with construction leadership, field teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and long-term growth opportunity.
• Manage electrical construction projects from pre‑construction through close‑out
• Review and administer project contracts, scope, and contractual requirements
• Develop, manage, and forecast project budgets and job costs
• Build and maintain project schedules.
• Create, negotiate, and manage subcontracts and vendor agreements
• Manage the project review process, with emphasis on cost control and financial forecasting
• Oversee billing, invoicing, and change order management per contract terms
• Ensure accurate and timely project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, time records, and correspondence
• Promote and support jobsite safety standards in coordination with field leadership
Coordinate with Superintendents and field staff to ensure proper resource planning and staffing

Skills and Requirements
• 5–10 years of experience as a Project Manager within electrical construction
• Strong background in commercial or industrial construction
• Proven experience managing:
○ Project budgets and financial forecasting
○ Change orders and RFIs
○ Billing and pay applications
○ Subcontractor oversight and coordination
• Ability to lead projects end-to-end while working onsite full time
• Strong communication skills with a client-facing presence
• Electrical construction expertise required • Accubid, Live Count, Bluebeam including proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Office is preferred
