Adecco US, Inc. Shipping Associate in Longwood, Florida

Adecco is hiring Shipping and Receiving hands-on experience with small-part packing and shipping for parcel carriers such as UPS and FedEx.

Coordinates activities pertaining to verifying and keeping records on outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment per customer and sales order requirements.

II. Principal duties/responsibilities:

  • Determines items to be shipped, number of items and method of shipping from documentation folder, accounting department, or other department managers.

  • Completes all shipping labels, packing slips, and tariff and declaration paperwork for interstate and international shipments.

  • Contacts carrier representatives to arrange shipments.

  • Generates serial number labels for all products being shipped.

  • Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons.

  • Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or select pre-assembled containers.

  • Insert items into containers for shipping purposes. Records weights and shipping charges of shipment.

  • Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.

  • Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.

  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

  • Provides Supply Chain Supervisor with status reports regarding problems or accomplishments.

  • Adheres to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues.

  • Will be cross trained to perform stockroom duties when needed

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Pay rate $19.00

Monday -Friday 7am-3:30pm

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
