Adecco US, Inc. QUALITY INSPECTOR II in Longwood, Florida

Adecco is hiring a QUALITY INSPECTOR II for the Longwood, Florida area.

Job description:

Inspects products at various stages of production process. Is also responsible for reporting and compiling data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.

Principal duties/responsibilities:

  • Performs visual inspections of Printed Circuit Boards, PCB Assemblies, Sheet Metal, Wire, Optics, Electronic Components etc. to verify that products adhere to specified standards of workmanship.

  • Documents the results of inspections regarding the condition of the product as defined by established procedures.

  • Reviews test data to verify that products meet specified requirements.

  • Interprets drawings and schematic diagrams to perform inspections.

  • Identifies deviations and initiates reports.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Business related contacts:

Has internal contact with manufacturing and engineering personnel for information regarding quality issues. Has contact with purchasing and accounting personnel for information regarding purchase orders and returned parts.

Education and/or equivalence in experience requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to five years’ related experience and/or training.

  • Experience with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)

  • Must pass certification for IPC-A-610 after hire (if not currently certified.

  • Must be familiar with workmanship standards IPC, MIL Specs, ISO 9001, etc.

  • Must have experience in quality and source inspection of electronic components.

  • Must be able to perform work with a microscope for several hours per day.

  • Experience interpreting engineering specifications (drawings, bills of material, deviations)

  • Experience with dimensional inspection tools (calipers, micrometer)

  • Experience with electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies

  • Computer literate with MS Excel experience I.

This position will start at $23 per hour. A pay increase upon conversion to full-time is not promised.

Production Team Members work a 9/80 work schedule. Their hours are 7:00 am – 4:30 pm every Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm the first Friday of the pay period and will have the following Friday off.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
