Adecco is hiring a QUALITY INSPECTOR II for the Longwood, Florida area.
Job description:
Inspects products at various stages of production process. Is also responsible for reporting and compiling data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
Principal duties/responsibilities:
Performs visual inspections of Printed Circuit Boards, PCB Assemblies, Sheet Metal, Wire, Optics, Electronic Components etc. to verify that products adhere to specified standards of workmanship.
Documents the results of inspections regarding the condition of the product as defined by established procedures.
Reviews test data to verify that products meet specified requirements.
Interprets drawings and schematic diagrams to perform inspections.
Identifies deviations and initiates reports.
Other duties may be assigned.
Business related contacts:
Has internal contact with manufacturing and engineering personnel for information regarding quality issues. Has contact with purchasing and accounting personnel for information regarding purchase orders and returned parts.
Education and/or equivalence in experience requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to five years’ related experience and/or training.
Experience with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
Must pass certification for IPC-A-610 after hire (if not currently certified.
Must be familiar with workmanship standards IPC, MIL Specs, ISO 9001, etc.
Must have experience in quality and source inspection of electronic components.
Must be able to perform work with a microscope for several hours per day.
Experience interpreting engineering specifications (drawings, bills of material, deviations)
Experience with dimensional inspection tools (calipers, micrometer)
Experience with electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies
Computer literate with MS Excel experience I.
This position will start at $23 per hour. A pay increase upon conversion to full-time is not promised.
Production Team Members work a 9/80 work schedule. Their hours are 7:00 am – 4:30 pm every Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm the first Friday of the pay period and will have the following Friday off.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
