Job Title: Commercial Application Engineer (CAE)
Location: Longmont, CO
What's the Job?
Lead the development of technical and commercial proposals for control system solutions, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and project requirements.
Act as the primary technical contact for customers, channel partners, and internal teams, providing application engineering guidance and support.
Coordinate with supply chain and third-party providers to obtain quotations and develop tailored control system solutions.
Manage the entire inquiry-to-order process, including risk assessment, cost estimation, and proposal presentation for approval.
Participate in customer meetings, negotiations, and presentations to foster strong relationships and secure project wins.
What's Needed?
An engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or power engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in application, design, or field commissioning services within industrial control systems.
Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, including control hardware, DCS, generator excitation, HMI, and cyber products.
Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings and opportunity development.
