Representative / Sales Representative, where you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our environmental consulting and testing services across the NYC metro area.
In this client‑facing role, you’ll build strong relationships, understand unique project challenges, and deliver solutions that make workplaces and communities safer. If you enjoy a mix of strategy, outreach, and hands‑on engagement with clients, this is the opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
Hunt for new business across construction, real estate, facilities management, and environmental markets.
Build lasting relationships with owners, contractors, developers, property managers, and EHS professionals.
Lead consultative conversations to understand project needs, scopes, and regulatory requirements.
Promote a wide range of services, including asbestos, lead, mold, IAQ, industrial hygiene, and compliance solutions.
Develop proposals and pricing in partnership with our technical and operations teams.
Manage your pipeline with consistent follow‑up, documentation, and CRM tracking.
Represent the company at client meetings, site visits, and industry events throughout NYC.
Assist in contract negotiations and ensure seamless project handoff to internal teams.
What You Bring
2+ years of business development or sales experience (environmental services, construction, engineering, or related fields preferred).
Demonstrated success in prospecting, relationship‑building, and closing deals.
Strong consultative and solution‑based selling approach.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
A self‑starter mindset and comfort working independently.
Bonus Points For
Existing connections in the NYC construction, real estate, or environmental sectors.
Experience selling professional or compliance‑driven services.
Familiarity with environmental regulations, testing, or permitting.
CRM proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills.
Willingness to travel locally for meetings and site visits.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Long Island City, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
Full benefits package; include medical, vision, dental and PTO
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Long Island City,NY.
