Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a Executive Director, Data & AI – Digital Analytics to lead the development of advanced analytics, data products, and AI-powered insights that inform digital and marketing decision-making across our beauty brands. This role will partner closely with marketing, digital commerce, and product teams to translate complex data into actionable insights, scalable tools, and intelligent decision support systems.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in digital analytics and marketing data with knowledge of emerging AI/ML capabilities, enabling teams to better understand consumers, optimize digital experiences, and accelerate growth across channels. This candidate has a strong “builder” mentality and ability to bridge key product management capabilities with cross-functional collaboration and scrappy “get it done” orientation.
This leader will drive the evolution from dashboard-oriented reporting to predictive and AI-enabled decision-making, empowering teams with intuitive analytics products, self-service insights, and advanced modeling.
Key Responsibilities
Digital & Marketing Analytics Leadership
Lead the strategy and roadmap for digital analytics and AI-driven insights across brand websites, e-commerce, and marketing in close partnership with digital and marketing organization.
Partner with marketing, digital, and e-commerce teams to identify high-impact analytics opportunities that drive measurable business outcomes.
Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that inform campaign optimization, consumer engagement, and digital experience improvements.
Long Description
Data Products & Insight Tools
Develop scalable data products, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools that enable marketing and digital teams to make data-informed decisions.
Partner with data engineering and platform teams to ensure the availability, quality, and usability of digital data.
Drive adoption of analytics tools across marketing, digital commerce, and brand teams.
AI & Advanced Analytics
Lead the development and implementation of AI and advanced analytics capabilities including:
Predictive modeling
Customer funnel analysis
Traffic and attribution
Conversational analytics
Customer segmentation and personalization
AI-enabled voice of customer tools
Identify opportunities to apply generative AI and machine learning to accelerate insight generation and improve decision-making.
Long Description
Cross-Functional Partnership
Act as a strategic analytics partner to CDMO and leadership team, digital leadership, and brand teams to guide data-driven strategies.
Collaborate with CRM, product, and technology teams to integrate analytics into core marketing and digital workflows.
Champion a test-and-learn culture, leveraging experimentation and measurement frameworks.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and mentor a team of digital analysts.
Establish best practices for measurement, experimentation, and insight development.
Foster a culture of curiosity, analytical rigor, and a “build mentality” across the organization.
Qualifications
8+ years in Data, Analytics, AI, or Digital/Marketing Analytics.
3–5+ years of people or product leadership experience.
Experience deploying analytics or AI solutions within marketing or digital ecosystems.
Strong knowledge of MarTech, digital analytics, attribution, experimentation, and customer data platforms.
Proven ability to partner cross-functionally in matrixed environments.
