Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Environmental Services Technician (EVS) Tech, you will provide critical environmental services and meticulous attention to cleanliness, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Every day you will expertly clean and disinfect patient rooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces, manage waste disposal, operate specialized equipment, and meticulously follow infection control protocols to maintain impeccable standards.

Demonstrates ability to assess/interpret age specific data.
Encourages involvement of patient/family/significant other in decision making related to plan of care.
Performs cleaning and/or isolation procedures of patient care areas; prepares room for new occupants and follow standards precautions. Performs cleaning of non patient care areas.
Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment and dust mops, wet mops, and vacuums floors.
Completes high dusting of all ceiling objects, wall objects and horizontal surfaces following departmental procedures.
Collects and disposes of trash and linen; relines containers and ensures cleanliness of containers.
Job Requirements
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Previous healthcare experience preferred.
