Primary Function

We are seeking a full time Video Editor to work on-site within our in house Managed Service at our clients offices in London. The ideal candidate has experience of editing social-native content and can concept, edit and package corporate and branded content for all digital platforms. Working closely with producers, designers and creators to deliver platform-specific video, you’ll use AI assisted tools to accelerate editing tasks, delivering volume at speed.

Duties & Responsibilities

Proficiency editing across a broad range of outputs, from social-native assets to longer form corporate content and educational videos

Perform technical editorial functions including rough cuts, graphic design & integration, audio mix and export of projects in various formats

Capable of handling multiple concurrent projects, from quick turnaround social edits to large scale complex deliverables

Conform to client-specific video requirements, from conservative to cutting edge

Taking projects from the final moment on set to a fully finished video piece

Maintaining high standards of editing as defined by brand guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Work as part of a team with producers, creatives, designers and technical experts.

Excellent customer service and communication during all phases of studio production and client interaction

Other production/post-production duties as assigned by Head of Post

Skills & Qualifications

Social-first mindset and flexibility

Genuine interest in AI technology and agility at applying latest products and features

Great at taking direction, but also able to work independently and make sound editorial choices without additional support.

Ability to meet tight deadlines, on a fast-faced production schedule.

Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.

Willing to work flexibly and adaptable to change

Education & Experience

3+ years experience in all aspects of the post production process

Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, with special emphasis in Premiere and After Effects.

Experienced in colour grading

Experience in social media content creation and best practices

Experience with the technical challenges and problem solving in a studio production environment.

Equally experienced in cutting a narrative from interviews, Q&A segments, or other recorded material to editing social reels and vertical assets.
