Aerotek Forklift Operator in London, Ontario
Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description
Join a leading provider of cleaning and hygiene products across multiple sectors, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of products throughout the facility. This position requires careful attention to surroundings and tight spaces, with a primary focus on safety over speed.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts to move products on skids safely throughout the facility.
Support the production line as needed, contributing to both forklift operation and production labor tasks.
Ensure a safe workplace by adhering to all safety guidelines while operating forklifts.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
Minimum 6 months of experience with Crown (Standing) Forklift operations.
Proficiency in forklift operation, material handling, and manufacturing operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous forklift experience.
Ability to count, perform basic math, and log information using a computer.
Basic written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions, complete required training, and work independently or as part of a team.

Work Environment
Work in a well-lit, spacious facility that accommodates comfortable daily operations. The manufacturing environment may expose workers to varied weather conditions, exhaust, fumes, dust, and noise. Enjoy straight afternoon shifts from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm with applicable shift premiums. Benefit from regular pay reviews every three months and opportunities for overtime work.
