What you'll do:
In this role, you will lead the design and scaling of security focused engineering solutions that strengthen identity, access control, and overall access governance across the organization. You will drive automation to enforce security policies consistently, reduce manual intervention, and improve real time visibility into access risk and compliance posture. Working closely with Security, Identity, and platform teams, you will embed controls such as solid authentication, conditional access, and policy enforcement directly into identity and access management workflows. Your focus will be on building resilient, scalable security capabilities that proactively reduce risk, support compliance requirements, and evolve with the organization's threat landscape.
Primary Responsibilities:
Delivery & Execution
Ensure predictable, high-quality delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies
Partner with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical execution plans
Balance delivery speed with technical debt management and platform stability
Oversee sprint planning, release management, and production readiness
People Management
Line-manage Engineering Managers and Senior Engineers
Coach, mentor, and develop engineers through regular 1:1s and career planning
Build a high-performance engineering culture
Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management
Stakeholder & Product Collaboration
Act as a key engineering partner to Product, Security, Compliance, and Operations
Communicate technical risks, trade-offs, and delivery timelines clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Contribute to roadmap planning, estimation, and prioritization discussions
Operational Excellence
Own engineering KPIs (delivery predictability, system health, incident metrics)
Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, observability, and on-call practices
Ensure compliance with internal governance, security, and data protection standards

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Proven extensive software engineering experience, including solid experience in leadership/management roles
Proven experience building and operating SaaS platforms at scale
Proven ability to manage and grow engineering managers and senior engineers
Demonstrated deep understanding of Agile delivery, SDLC, and modern DevOps practices
Demonstrated excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
