We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Multi Asset Portfolio Manager
The team is responsible for HSBC’s flagship multi-asset products currently representing USD40bn AUM. The Managed Solutions team is dynamic and works in a highly collaborative style, you’ll have full access to team members including those in senior positions, as well as the wider UK Multi Asset team and collaborate on overlapping issues such as idea generation, portfolio implementation, and multi-asset research. You’ll be required to construct and provide ongoing management of the Fund Portfolio, including strategic asset allocation, tactical asset allocation and security/fund selection.

In this role you’ll:
Play a pivotal role in the management of our multi asset fund range within the framework of the multi-asset investment philosophy and process, including trade construction and implementation
Achieve investment performance targets within agreed risk parameters
Provide related investment services, support and communication to all relevant internal and external stakeholders as required
Undertake research with a quantitative focus to improve investment ideas (alpha signal generation, portfolio construction) across the investment process
Collaborate with others (sales, product, operations) to ensure investment performance, superior client outcomes by sharing investment knowledge, input into process improvements and maintain a professional investment culture
To be successful in this role you’ll meet the following requirements:
Be highly knowledgeable about Asset Management Multi Assets, Funds of Funds and generally be a highly accomplished investment portfolio professional
Obtained a CFA level1 or IMC qualification
Have a strong qualitative and quantitative analysis capability (be familiar with Python, R, Matlab etc) and used to working with complex financial data
High level of commercial awareness to be able to work with various sources of information to produce easily digestible reports and presentations
Possess very good stakeholder management skills, coupled with a professional confidence that engender the view of a ‘Trusted Partner’ across a varied internal and external audience
Demonstrate really good time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to managing multiple tasks often with conflicting priorities
