About the role
The Corporate Development Analyst will support M&A strategy, target identification, financial analysis, and transaction execution for Publicis Production globally. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and marketing technology. This is a high-exposure role working closely with senior leadership across Publicis Production and the broader Groupe.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Intelligence & Target Screening
• Track global M&A activity across key markets
• Develop thematic market maps and sector deep dives
• Identify and prioritise acquisition targets aligned to production strategy
2. Strategic Analysis
• Model build-vs-buy scenarios for new capabilities
• Assess competitive positioning versus existing and emerging competition
• Analyse synergy potential
• Support long-term capability roadmap development
3. M&A Execution
Build financial models
Support due diligence (financial, commercial, operational, technology)
Coordinate cross-functional workstreams
Prepare investment memos and executive presentations for leadership review
4. Integration & Value Creation Support
• Assist with post-merger integration tracking
• Monitor deal performance versus investment case
• Support synergy realization and reporting
Candidate Profile
Experience
1–3 years post qualification (accountancy, CFA or equivalent) in:
Investment banking
Corporate development
Strategy consulting (with transaction exposure)
Exposure to marketing services, SaaS, adtech, martech, or creative industries preferred
Technical Skills
• Advanced financial modeling
• Strong accounting and financial statement fluency
• PowerPoint storytelling and executive-level communication
• Data analysis
Strategic & Personal Attributes
Strong commercial judgment
Curiosity about AI, creative production, and marketing technology trends
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations
High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple workstreams
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, global, matrixed organization
