UL, LLC Lead Sales Executive – Product Stewardship Software in London, United Kingdom
UL Solutions is hiring a Lead Sales Executive (Product Stewardship, Software) reporting directly to the Senior Software Sales Manager. This role plays a key part in shaping UL Solutions’ commercial success in the Product Stewardship software portfolio by driving strategic enterprise engagement, delivering high value regulatory solutions, and expanding our presence across the chemical manufacturing ecosystem. This is a remote based role in the UK.
Supports development of GAM and SAM multi-year account plans in Software by providing insight on area of Product Stewardship, Software.
Leverage deep product Stewardship and regulatory expertise—including SDS authoring, chemical inventory management, GHS/CLP, REACH/SVHC, TSCA, and HazCom—to build credibility with EHS, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Stewardship stakeholders.
Contributes to the development of strategy for their assigned specialized Software products and services by providing input on customer needs, pain points, trends, etc.
Build and grow an enterprise pipeline through consistent multi‑channel outbound activity (calls, sequences, targeted email), engagement with EHS/Regulatory leaders, LinkedIn outreach, industry event participation, and expansion within existing chemical manufacturing and formulation accounts.
Uses technical credibility to build relationships with buyers and centers of influence, in support of GAM, SAM and KAMs (serving Global accounts).
Assess customer challenges by identifying fragmented SDS authoring, inconsistent chemical data sources, manual classification processes, and regulatory exposure, translating these into operational risk, compliance impact, and business value.
Lead structured discovery to map chemical approval workflows, SDS/label creation processes, regulatory review cycles, and cross‑functional data dependencies, developing clear value hypotheses and quantified ROI models.
Drive tailored solution evaluations with Solutions Consulting, Product, and Regulatory SMEs to align demos with customer objectives across automated SDS authoring, global regulatory updates, hazardous substance tracking, SCIP/BOM checks, and ERP/PLM integrations.
Manage the full enterprise sales cycle: build multi‑threaded stakeholder alignment, guide evaluation and procurement, develop proposals, negotiate terms, maintain accurate forecasts, and execute disciplined close plans for high‑value Product Stewardship deals.
Serves as primary point of contact for specialty products / services, responsible for articulating value proposition and managing client interactions.
Brings in additional technical resources (e.g., Solution Architects) when needed to support sales opportunities of assigned specialty products / services.
Bachelors and/or graduate degree in engineering or related field. Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software.
Relevant technical capabilities related to assigned specialty product / service 8+ years of related sales experience.
Deep knowledge and experience within the Product Stewardship / Regulatory Domain
Demonstrated success managing the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to close. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes.
