Responsibilities and Impact:
• Lead and manage a team of 5-6 threat intelligence analysts to deliver comprehensive threat intelligence capabilities across S&P Global's global operations
• Design, implement, and continuously enhance the enterprise threat intelligence program to proactively identify and assess emerging advanced cyber threats targeting financial services organizations
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with industry intelligence sharing organizations including FS-ISAC (Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center), Cyber Intelligence Sharing Communities, and other relevant threat intelligence groups
• Drive proactive defense strategies by translating threat intelligence into actionable security controls, detection rules, and incident response procedures
• Prepare and deliver regular threat intelligence briefings and strategic security updates to executive leadership team and board-level stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with business divisions and functions to understand specific business strategies and identify relevant threat landscapes, requiring divisions to provide business context and strategic updates for targeted threat assessment
• Oversee the analysis and dissemination of threat intelligence to support security incident investigations, vulnerability management, and executive decision-making
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, with 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity and threat intelligence
• Proven leadership experience managing cybersecurity teams of 5+ professionals, with demonstrated ability to develop talent and drive team performance
• Deep expertise in threat intelligence platforms and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, with experience using Google SecOps, Wiz, and Recorded Future for threat analysis and intelligence gathering
• Strong knowledge of financial services threat landscape, including regulatory requirements and industry-specific attack vectors targeting banking and financial institutions
• Experience with threat intelligence tools and technologies including SIEM platforms, threat hunting platforms, and intelligence analysis software
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to translate complex technical threats into business risk language for C-level audiences
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCTI (GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence), or SANS certifications demonstrating specialized threat intelligence expertise
• Experience with cloud security platforms and threat intelligence in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), including cloud-native security tools and threat detection
• Previous experience in financial services, banking, or regulated industries
• Demonstrated experience building and scaling threat intelligence programs from the ground up, including establishing processes, metrics, and stakeholder engagement models
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $142,000 to $215,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
