Overview
The TRY 4-H Adventures club is designed to spark love for nature and boost well-being for youth 6th-12th grade through outdoor recreational activities The TRY 4-H Adventures Program Intern will work with youth leaders to plan and facilitate outdoor activities that increase physical activity and build stronger social connections. This is the perfect job for someone passionate about health and wellness and spending time outside.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with youth leaders to design, organize, and lead outdoor experiences.
Lead and supervise youth groups in various outdoor settings.
Promote positive youth development through the 4-H model.
Recruit participants and volunteers.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required; some college experience is preferred.
Ability to work independently and serve as a positive role model.
Willingness to have a flexible working schedule.

This position requires moderate physical activity. Outdoors, incumbents may not be protected from weather conditions and may be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold. The incumbent may also be exposed to conditions that may affect the respiratory system, such as odors, dusts, and mists. Bending, crawling, and crouching may be required. Incumbents may be required to lift, push, and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds and be required to walk, and/or stand for long periods of time.
