This dual-role position is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting while supporting essential administrative and payroll functions. As a Recruiter/Recruiting Assistant,you ll play a key role in the recruitment lifecycle by filling client orders with quality candidates and ensuring a smooth onboarding and job site transition.
This role requires a proactive,enthusiastic,organized,and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across teams.
Responsibilities
- Initiate recruiting and sourcing efforts by engaging candidate leads daily via phone and text to build a strong talent pipeline
- Review resumes,conduct pre-screen and second interviews,and assist candidates with resume creation as needed
- Process employee applications and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately (Application,I-9,W-4,Direct Deposit,Health Benefits,and Client Onboarding Documents)
- Coordinate and schedule client and candidate interviews,providing interview coaching when needed
- Write candidate submittal paragraphs highlighting qualifications identified during interviews
- Extend job offers and assist with employment negotiations when necessary
- Complete required pre-employment steps,including background checks,drug testing,reference checks,and certifications
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to run reports,update records,and complete onboarding
- Use recruiting tools such as job boards,text messaging platforms,and sourcing software
- Handle administrative and clerical duties,including answering phones,outbound calls,and data entry
- Support payroll collection,reconciliation,and distribution of hours
- Assist associates with daily needs and interact professionally with clients,applicants,and employees
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Previous recruiting experience (staffing agency or in-house preferred) or strong customer service/administrative experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,including the ability to support conflict resolution
- Highly organized,detail-oriented,and deadline-driven with strong multitasking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word,Teams,Outlook) and familiarity with ATS platforms and job boards
- Strong customer service mindset with problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude
- Ability to assess candidate qualifications and make informed hiring recommendations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
Pay
$17.00 $20.00 per hour DOE + commissions and bonus opportunities Schedule
