Scope:
According to customer and internal specifications, designs and implements manufacturing processes and equipment for the manufacture of PCB's, including process optimization and continual improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to read, understand and follow written procedures and instructions in English.
Ability to use personal experience, education, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Lead and direct the work of others.
Focus on process yield and improvement.
Interact with customers regarding process improvement and failure analysis.
Support manufacturing by process definition and implementation.
Ability to specify materials, tools, equipment (when possible), and process parameters.
Ability to assist in training of manufacturing personnel.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
Ability to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions for process improvement.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in technically related field.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of relevant engineering software and Microsoft Excel.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
To perform this job successfully, a certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt, or enrollment in the Tyco Green Belt Training is helpful.
