Overview
Helping with the day to day trouble tickets for Housing Technology.
Hours: Flexible hours within M-F 9am - 5 pm, some weekends may be required. 15 hours minimum with a 30 hour max during the school year in blocks of at least 2 hours at a time; up to 30 hours per week may become available during the summer.
Along with your application, you must provide your available work schedule, with blocks of 2 consecutive hours minimum.
Responsibilities
Helping with the day to day trouble tickets for Housing Technology.
Development and implementation of multiple Housing security systems.
Pulling wires and physical installation of hardware as needed.
Travel between housing locations using Housing IT vehicles to complete service and support duties.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of computer hardware.
Experience troubleshooting windows workstations.
Comfortable and willing to work on ladders and with hand tools.
Valid driver's license to perform essential job responsibilities, such as driving university vehicles and transporting materials

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and may lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Employees must be comfortable and willing to work on ladders and with hand tools.
