The HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) programs are well-implemented and comply with the relevant standards and regulations at the plant. This means you ensure that provided equipment is in compliance with our standards, regulations, that procedures are in place and followed, that hazards/aspects are assessed and that accidents caused by unsafe behaviors and/or unsafe conditions are reduced. You are also contributing to energy consumption and waste management and reduction.

How you will contribute:

Functional projects and operational support

Deployment of HSE functional Projects (ex.: PPE, Workplace transport, working at Height, Cultural improvement program, Waste sorting, etc.…, to improve HSE culture and conditions on site

Ensure operational support on the field whenever necessary

Standard deployment

Ensure MDLZ standards are properly understood, deployed over the site

Translate worldwide MDLZ standards from global to local procedures

Indicators

Follows closely the HSE Indicators and take the learning of the figures

Establish a loss tree analysis to define priorities for the site

Risk Assessment

Identify and assess workplace hazards.

Prepare and update risk assessments.

Defines priorities for the site based on risk assessment results

Project Support

Provide advice on all matters related to workplace safety, health, and risk prevention.

Participate in the development of protection and prevention measures.

Take the lead of some actions.

Legal Compliance

Ensure that safety and health conditions comply with legal requirements

Stay up to date with current laws and regulations regarding workplace safety and ensure their implementation.

Training and Awareness

Organize training sessions and awareness campaigns for employees.

Instruct managers and employees on safety regulations, safety awareness, safety procedures, etc…

Incident Investigation and Reporting

Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and propose corrective measures.

Prepare detailed reports on the state of workplace safety.

Make the follow-up of the actions

SIFA: Ideally you have the SIFA (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) qualification as foreseen in the German DGUVV2 law.

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career with experience and knowledge in:

  • Interest in environmental and occupational safety

  • Be a role model in the areas of safety, health, and environmental awareness.

  • Willingness to deliver training and further education in environmental and occupational safety

  • Ideally prior experience in a manufacturing environment – FMCG or Pharma industry strongly preferred

  • Fluent German and English language skills

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams, as well as people at all levels

  • Positive & polite attitude, strong influencing skills

  • Ability to lead meetings, delegate tasks and train colleagues / stakeholders

  • Willingness to learn new things

  • Resilience to make the work until the end and prove efficeincy of this work

  • Pro-active working. Ability to think and make proposal to get things better.
