Huron is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Scrum Lead with deep LoanIQ and syndicated lending expertise to lead complex, front-to-back technology initiatives across loan origination, servicing, and credit risk platforms. This role blends Agile delivery leadership, traditional PMO governance, and strong domain knowledge across bank lending, loan servicing, and secondary trading workflows. The successful candidate will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver regulatory-compliant, scalable solutions aligned with client and firm objectives. This role is based in Belfast and supports global financial services clients.

Your Role: Senior Project Manager – LoanIQ (Agile Delivery)

In this role, you will lead the delivery of complex, front‑to‑back technology initiatives across syndicated lending and credit risk platforms. You’ll combine strong Agile/Scrum leadership with traditional project governance, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure successful, regulatory‑aligned outcomes. This is a hands‑on delivery role requiring deep LoanIQ functional expertise and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment. While the scope of each project may be different, your duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of LoanIQ-related initiatives across origination, syndication, agency servicing, and secondary loan trading.

  • Own delivery planning, execution, and reporting across multiple workstreams with interdependent timelines.

  • Serve as the primary point of coordination between Front Office, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams.

  • Act as Scrum Master for Agile delivery teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Drive backlog prioritisation and delivery tracking using Jira, Confluence, or equivalent Agile tools.

  • Balance Agile delivery practices with PMO governance requirements, including RAID logs, milestone tracking, status reporting, and audit documentation.

  • Lead and oversee LoanIQ configuration and enhancements, including:

  • Facilities and tranche structures

  • Rate index setup (SOFR and LIBOR fallbacks)

  • Amortisation schedules and covenant monitoring

  • Manage complex loan lifecycle events, including amendments, waivers, repricing, refinances, and restructurings.

  • Ensure accurate interest, fee, and accrual processing across all relevant workflows.

  • Coordinate integration between LoanIQ and upstream trading platforms and downstream Finance, Risk, and General Ledger systems.

  • Plan and lead SIT, UAT, and regression testing for LoanIQ releases.

  • Ensure data integrity, operational readiness, and stakeholder sign-off prior to go-live.

  • Develop and execute cutover, parallel run, and rollback strategies for multi-entity and multi-region deployments.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, including Basel requirements, SOFR transition, and credit risk exposure reporting.

  • Proactively manage delivery risk through robust RAID governance and mitigation planning.

  • Engage senior stakeholders across business and technology functions, providing clear, concise status updates and risk transparency.

  • Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and training sessions for business users and support teams.

The Profile We're Looking For: Experienced LoanIQ Delivery Professional

We’re looking for an experienced delivery professional with a proven background in banking or financial services technology, strong LoanIQ domain knowledge, and the confidence to lead complex programs from initiation through go‑live. You’ll bring a balanced mindset—comfortable operating in Agile environments while maintaining robust PMO controls—and be recognised for your stakeholder management, problem‑solving ability, and clear communication style. Required background includes:

  • 8+ years of technology project or program delivery experience within banking or financial services.

  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-stream initiatives under tight timelines and regulatory constraints.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.

  • Hands-on experience working in Agile delivery environments using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or Azure DevOps.

  • Strong functional understanding of LoanIQ, including configuration, lifecycle events, and integrations.

  • Deep knowledge of syndicated loan products, agency servicing, and secondary trading workflows.

  • Solid understanding of Credit Risk, collateral management, and regulatory reporting.

  • Familiarity with Basel III, SOFR transition, and trade lifecycle processes.

  • Experience working with SQL, XML, and data mapping for LoanIQ interfaces (preferred).

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and DevOps delivery practices (preferred).

  • Prior consulting experience or client-facing delivery roles.

  • Ability to balance Agile delivery with structured PMO governance.

  • Strong expertise in syndicated lending and credit risk processes.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to translate complex requirements into executable plans.

  • Analytical approach to issue triage and root cause resolution.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, regulatory-driven environments with evolving priorities.
